TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.

Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, website and regulatory get more info details, is at Trade The Day.
