TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background. They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live. What You PayThree account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.InfrastructureThe execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this. The FSRA QuestionThis is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision. The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.Deposit BonusTab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.Everything in one place, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, more info is at TradeTheDay.
